A well-designed toothbrush

I only use electric toothbrushes. I'm too ADD to brush regularly without the POWER of SCIENCE. When I travel, though I have trouble, because they don't normally make travel electric toothbrushes, or cases for them, or whatever, so that I can toss the toothbrush into my book bag and not get toothpaste residue on my calculator.

I recently bought a shiny new Crest toothbrush, and it came with a plastic cap to go on the toothbrush. Why hasn't anyone else done this before? It just snaps on to cover the bristles.

  1. Don't you wish you had the patent for that baby?

  2. I used to have an electric toothbrush, and it had that kind of thing. Doesn't an electric toothbrush fit in one of those handy "bathroom kit" bags though, along with toothpaste and a cup?

  3. So, how does the POWER of SCIENCE help you to overcome your ADD in this case? Is it because things are inherently cooler when they are electric, so that makes it fun to brush your teeth? Or is it that the electric toothbrush makes it less work, so you don't have as much psychological resistance to starting the task?

  4. the POWER of SCIENCE helps me, an ADD-afflicted person, because it takes me less time to brush my teeth effectively. Otherwise I might remember something that I need to do 15 seconds into the job and forget it by the time I'm rinsing my mouth out.

  5. When using a non-SCIENCE toothbrush, AKA an Amish toothbrush, I would often stand there, in front of the mirror, with the brush hanging dumbly out of my mouth, as a frothy drool dripped down. When my shirt would get wet, I would start brushing again. Let me tell you, this wasn't pretty. Isn't the POWER of SCIENCE the way to the FUTURE?

  6. I don't believe in toothbrushes. Hundreds of years ago, before the communists invented the toothbrush, people had perfect teeth with no cavities, because their saliva adapted (NOT evolved - evolution is a LIE from the DEVIL!!!11one) - anyway, adapted, as I say, to be more alkaline (this is Chemistry) so that bacteria would not survive in their mouths. From a young age, I have cultivated alkaline saliva, and I have never once had a cavity.

Plus, when you brush your teeth at night, your mouth tastes awful the next morning. This is also from the Devil.

  7. Well, they do sell snap-on lids for regular toothbrushes... but they're sold separately and probably don't fit electric toothbrushes.

I'm glad you found a suitable one!
